Beverage Case Study
A major producer of fruit juice beverages has, over a number of years, grown significantly. Packing a very wide range of different containers and products for their own brands and contract customers, handling the evolving range of containers without losing the investment in their existing plant has been a challenge.
What We Did
When it was found their existing labelling system from another supplier could not keep up with production, Reynolds cost-effectively upgraded the system with new high-performance Avery Dennison labelling heads, which were also IP65 rated to provide maximum protection in the environment. Many years later production requirements had further expanded, so Reynolds was called upon to install a brand new in-line labelling system. In supplying the new solution Reynolds was able to keep costs down by utilising the previously fitted Avery heads.
The Results
The customer was able to avoid wholesale replacement of equipment, and instead invest over time as production demands dictated. Their new Reynolds in-line labelling system comfortably handles the huge range of different and often difficult containers, and Reynolds was also able to address on-going product handling issues they had been experiencing. Another very happy Reynolds customer.
